Would you recommend the Tippmann Carver One paintball marker for a beginner?
I've been playing paintball for a little over a year now. I don't play very often. I usually try to get a bunch of friends together when we are bored and play speedball. So I'm looking for a decent speedball marker. My last marker was the noobest gun ever. It was a Brass Eagle. I saw the Tippmann Carver One and thought it looked like an interesting gun. One of my friends is selling all his paintball stuff and he has a lot of stuff. I might buy one of his guns but I haven't talked to him yet. He has one gun. It's a spyder, not sure the make. I might buy off him but I don't have a clue how much he would be selling it for. Here's a picture.

Never buy a spyder worst guns ever! All my friends during our paintball season broke their spyders and switched to tippmann 98s. Honestly I've never used the carver one but you really can't go wrong spending a little more cash on a 98 custom they're reliable, they never chop, and if somethings happens to break you can get replacement internal parts. Plus, you can mod the junk out of them if you wanted to!
Paintball gun won't compress CO2 to fire shot?
I have a Brass Eagle Avenger 3
I was getting ready to play, but then when I put my CO2 tank on, it just started to release all of the air from the gun. I've checked the connection between the hose and the gun, and it's fine. I think that the problem is with the valve body, but I'm not sure.
Can someone please help me out?
The paintgun should not be compressing the CO2, it is already compressed in the tank.
It sounds like a leak of some sort, and how to fix it depends on where the leak is.
the Avenger is a blowback powered paintgun, one very common cause of leaks when you connect the CO2 is not cocking the marker first. The marker works by a hammer hitting the valve core and knocking it open. If you don't cock the marker first, the hammer will be pushing on the valve core and holding it open to start with. Since the valve is open, the CO2 will rush right through it and out the barrel.
